A useful quality plan makes responsibilities and acceptance tests clear before fabrication begins. This is a buyer-side checklist of evidence to request, not a claim that every test is included in every Heyaansh order.
Build a container quotation request →Agree the inspection and handover schedule in the purchase order. Do not assume a certificate, test record or third-party witness exists unless it is listed and supplied.
Use approved revision-controlled drawings for frame, openings, internal partitions, equipment positions and MEP routes. Agree who can authorise variations and which drawings become the final as-built set.
Where required, request material test certificates or traceability records, member dimensions, welding procedure requirements, agreed weld inspection scope and critical connection evidence. The correct standard and acceptance criteria must be stated in the contract.
Inspect roof/weather sealing, doors, hardware, glazing, drainage, coatings, corrosion-prone details and sealing of service penetrations. Agree whether a water-tightness or leakage test is required and record its method and outcome.
Agree who verifies earthing, insulation resistance, protective devices, lighting, AC or ventilation, distribution boards, cable identification and other installed equipment. Tests must be appropriate to the systems included and applicable requirements.
For toilets and showers, document water-supply and drain connections, fixture operation, floor falls, waterproofing scope, cleaning access and safe operation. The buyer must confirm site connections and any statutory approvals.
Confirm the weight and lifting/transport documents required for the specific module, packing and protection, delivery photographs, snag list, equipment manuals, warranty terms and the final signed handover report. Separate site installation acceptance from factory completion.
No. Independent inspection and certification must be separately contracted when required.
Progress or completion photographs are useful, but ask for relevant inspection/test records as well. Photographs alone do not certify structural adequacy.
The contract should identify the party responsible for electricity, water, drainage, foundations, crane access and commissioning.
