Custom Industrial Container Fabrication

Equipment housings, control rooms, mobile utility modules and unusual site applications need an engineering-led specification. Heyaansh can develop the commercial fabrication scope from a buyer drawing or a structured design brief.

Who is this for?

For OEMs, contractors, industrial equipment integrators and buyers seeking a purpose-built container rather than a fixed standard fit-out.

What needs to be decided before fabrication?

These are quotation and design decisions, not assumed standard inclusions. Site conditions and written drawing approvals determine the final offer.

Design basis first

Define whether the unit is modified from an ISO shipping container or a purpose-built steel frame. Dimensions and stackability must not be assumed.

Equipment and loading

Provide fixed equipment mass, centre of gravity, anchoring positions, service loads and intended transport/lift conditions.

Access and services

Plan openings, maintenance clearances, ventilation/heat rejection, cable entries, flooring and corrosion protection.

Quality and handover

Agree drawing revisions, material specifications, inspection points, electrical scope, lifting certification responsibilities and documentation requirements.

Quotation input checklist

  1. Application and design basis: conversion or newly fabricated enclosure
  2. Overall dimensions, drawings and all equipment payloads
  3. Lift method, frequency of movement, lifting points and gross transport mass
  4. Door/opening sizes, required fire/electrical/mechanical interfaces
  5. Material grades, inspection/documentation requirements and site jurisdiction

Frequently asked buyer questions

Can a 40-foot module be made wider than an ISO container?

A custom-width fabricated enclosure may be possible, but transport permits, road restrictions and lifting design differ from standard ISO units. Dimensions must be checked before an offer is accepted.

Does a lifting-point sketch prove a container is crane-safe?

No. Lift arrangement, steel grades, load combinations, lifting geometry, centre of gravity, welds and inspections require a competent engineering review appropriate to the lifting task.

Will Heyaansh supply structural calculations?

That depends on the agreed engineering and documentation scope. Where independently reviewed calculations or third-party certification are required, they must be specified in the quotation rather than assumed.
