Commitment
Heyaansh is committed to preventing injury, occupational ill-health, pollution and avoidable loss. No production target, customer request, deadline or cost saving justifies unsafe or unlawful work.
Responsibilities
Management will provide resources, competent supervision, training and safe equipment. Managers must identify hazards, assess risk, communicate controls, confirm permits and PPE, and stop work when conditions change.
Employees, contractors and visitors must follow controls, use PPE, protect others and report hazards and incidents.
Stop-work authority
Any person may stop and report work presenting an immediate and serious danger without retaliation for a good-faith safety intervention. Work may resume only after authorised reassessment and controls.
Core controls
Keep exits, floors, stairs, workstations, cables and access routes clear. Only trained and authorised persons may operate or repair specialised equipment. Never bypass guards, interlocks, alarms, isolation or permits.
Report unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, illness, spills and property damage immediately.
First aid, fire and emergency
Maintain accessible first aid, trained contacts, emergency communication, fire protection, evacuation routes, assembly points and periodic drills. Life safety takes priority over property or firefighting.
Environment
Minimise waste, water and energy use; prevent spills and pollution; segregate and dispose of waste lawfully; maintain reasonable sanitation and drinking water; and follow customer or site environmental controls.
Incident investigation and improvement
Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and corrective action, not merely blame. Management will review material risks, legal requirements, objectives, incidents and effectiveness of corrective actions. Detailed site procedures remain controlled internally.
